Health: Jazmyne always seems to be sick. She is prone to URIs and to date has had 3 tumors, one of which is inoperable and will eventually get too big; Sophie has been totally healthy, aside from one URI when we first got her, probably from the pine bedding they'd been kept on at the petstore. She has one small lump starting to form.
Temperment: Both of these girls are wonderful. They are our most well behaved, calm girls. They are so bonded that we decided that they should even have the same bio on the website here. Sophie won't accept any of rat, but Jazmyne and they've never been apart except when Jaz was in surgery for her first tumor.
Comments: We love both of these girls very very much, but unfortunately our time with them is limited. They are more than 2 years old and have health problems. It is an unfortunate thing that they were bred as feeder rats and thus quantity, not health or longevity, was the purpose of their birth. But, no matter, we love them anyway and cherish every day we are blessed with them.
